Use this HELPFUL CHECKLIST to get your car ready!
VISIBILITY - WIPER & LIGHTING TIPS
Check the wipers and lighting so that you can see and be seen. Don’t forget your headlight bulbs and covers.
TRACTION - TIRE TIPS
Check the tires, tread and pressure. Uneven wear indicates a need for wheel alignment. Tires should also bechecked for cracks in the sidewall, bulges and bald spots. Checking tire pressure (don’t forget your spare!) can avoid flats and improve your fuel efficiency.
SAFETY - BRAKE TIPS
Check your brakes. When you need to stop on slick and icy roads,every second counts. Get your brake linings, rotors and drums inspected at each oil change.
PERFORMANCE - FLUID CHECK TIPS
Check all fluids, including engine oil, power steering, brake andtransmission as well as windshield washer solvent and antifreeze/coolant.
